The Lillian F. Phillips Library

The Lillian F. Phillips Library at Swedish Institute is a modern reference and lending library located on the sixth floor. The library offers an extensive selection of current books and periodicals, as well as audiotapes and videotapes. There is also a valuable collection of rare and historically significant books dating back to the 1890's, used when the school was founded in 1916.

Books are classified using the Dewey Decimal Classification System and can be located by searching the computer database. The current catalog has over 2,000 holdings listed.
