Academic Support

Practice Sessions

Students can attend practice sessions in needling techniques, point location and Tuina. These sessions are led by faculty members and held during convenient hours for students. Look for current times and room numbers on the Acupuncture Program bulletin boards in the student lounge.

Academic Advising

Experienced faculty are available to meet with students for advising on issues pertaining to the program, curriculum or the process of becoming an acupuncturist. Please check Acupuncture Program bulletin board in the student lounge for dates and times.

Acupuncture Scholarships

Acupuncture students in Clinical Internship I, IA and IB are eligible to apply for the Kan Sung and Liu Yun Goon scholarship. Applications are available at the reception area on the 5th floor.

NCCAOM Certification Exam Dates

Information and applications for the certification exams given by NCCAOM are available at the NCCAOM web site at www.nccaom.org.

CNT Exam Dates

Information and applications for the Clean Needle Technique (CNT) exams are available at the Council of Colleges of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (CCAOM) web site at www.ccaom.org.
