AccreditationProspective students should inquire about the accreditation status of
any massage therapy program they are considering and find out if it is
accredited by an agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education.
Accreditation is the approval process a school follows in order to
ensure that its students receive a consistent quality of education.
A school that endeavors to maintain a high level of academic excellence
and service will take the time and effort to go through the accreditation
process. Accreditation is required in order for a
school to provide its students with access to federal and state financial
aid programs.
